
Himachal
is blessed with some of the most spectacular and beautiful landscapes. It is
a travellers paradise with mighty snow peaks, deep ravines, lush green
valley, hazy woods, melodious rivers, enchanting lakes and flower filled
meadows. Its high mountains and valleys are linked by winding roads and high
passes. While the picturesque valleys of Kullu and Kangra are a riot of
colours. In marked contrast the stark and barren terrain of Lahaul &
Spiti have a stunning lunar and scope like beauty. One can enjoy the superb
attractions for relaxing and sight seeing. There are also great
opportunities for trekking, mountaineering, fishing, river-rafting, skiing
and para-gliding.
Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation has divided the State into
four interesting circuits. These circuits pass through different terrains
making one feel as if one is trekking through ages at different times.
BEAS : This circuit covers Delhi-Swarghat-Bilaspur--Mandi-
Rewalsar- Kullu- Manali- Rohtang- Naggar- Manikaran- Delhi (1335 km) (5
nights 6 days).
DHAULADHAR : This circuit covers Delhi- Chintpurni-
Jwalamukhi- Kangra- Dalhousie- Khajjiar- Chamba- Dharamshala- Chamunda-
Palampur- Jogindernagar- Delhi.
SUTLEJ : This circuit covers Delhi- Parwanoo- Kasauli-
Barog- Solan- Chail- Hatkoti- Rampur- Sarahan- Narkanda- Naldehra-
Tattapani- Shimla- Kiarighat- Delhi. This circuit also includes Renuka,
Paonta Sahib and Nahan.
TRIBAL : This circuit covers Delhi- Shimla- Sarahan-
Sangla- Kalpa- Nako- Tabo- Dhankar-Pin Vally- Kaza- Losar- Kunzum- Koksar-
Sissu- Tandi- Udaipur- Trilokpur- Rohtang- Manali- Delhi.

HPTDC ( Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation)
Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) is a pioneer in
the development of tourism infrastructure in Himachal. Formed in 1972, it
provides a complete package of tourism services, including accommodation,
catering, transport and sports activities.
Having the largest chain of finest hotels and restaurants in the State with
nearly 57 hotels, having 950 rooms and 2050 beds. HPTDC also runs 62
restaurants and cefes, serving a varied cuisine, including Himachali
delicacies. All these properties are set in superb locations in the lap of
nature.
Its luxurious transport network makes this mountain State easily accessible
with a fleet of coaches, vans and jeeps. The HPTDC arranges sports
activities like skiing, para-gliding, river-rafting, trekking, ice-skating
and golf. Besides camping and tenting facilities in far flung tribal areas.
Tourist information centres are being run all over India and Himachal by
HPTDC. Besides disseminating information's, they provide reservation,
